Where in the world is....
Tell me what is wrong with this picture. Poor Ashley had the worst stuffy nose Saturday night and into Sunday. You have to have the nose sucker to help a poor helpless baby blow their nose! As we are leaving for church, we find something in the flower bed. Hmmm, who could have put that there? Earlier on Saturday Andrew was using it as a tee for golf balls and hitting them off it. The things he does these days! Once he was playing with the remote and hid it. Too bad he can't remember where he hides things to be able to find them later!
Today I go to do dishes and my drain is plugged. I get down to the bottom and find this! A golf ball! He was playing with it earlier in the house and I took it away. He must have found where I set it and put it in the sink. Why, I don't know.

Happy EARLY Birthday Andy!
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Andy, Andrew, Angela, Andersbergers, Happy birthday to you! Isn't he the cutest?! We had an early birthday dinner for him last Monday before he leaves to go home to Alaska for the summer. We had Paul, Kara, Ada, Seth, Amy, Wesley, Seaka, and Andy over. Amy made a yummy roast, I made rolls and potatoes (thank you Derick for being the taste tester because
I wasn't about to!) and Paul and Ada made his yummy cake! When it comes to Andy, it has got to be mint chocolate chip! Paul, you did great! It tasted just like Asphalt Pie from Wingers! Andy, I hope you have fun at home this summer for all of us.

Taking out the Tubes
Andrew got tubes put in his ears a little over two years ago. They helped so much! I think he had only been sick once or twice during that time. So why take them out? I guess if they stay in too long you can risk getting a permanent hole. Usually they fall out between 10-12 months after getting them. His were still perfectly intact! This meant surgery. Yes, maybe it was only a 20 minute same day surgery, but still, no one likes the sound of that word!
They always schedule children at the hospital first thing in the morning because they have to be fasting. If you know Andrew, you know that the first words out of his mouth are, "Can I have cheerios?" It was hard for him to not eat or drink anything, poor kid. This is Andrew on the way there. He had no idea what was happening. We got to the hospital at 7:15 am and of course had to wait for a while before we even get put into a room.
They had a lady from Pediatrics come down with a basket full of toys. I am so glad she was there! He was coloring, playing cars, got stickers, and best of all, blew bubbles! All this while they took his blood pressure (which he hated) and did a little checkup on him.
About thirty minutes later they brought him back to us! They take them to a room after surgery to wake up a little, then bring them to you. Usually kids cry out the anesthesia. That is what he did when he had the tubes put in. The anesthesiologist before told us he would be surprised if he didn't cry afterwards just to warn us. The first thing Andrew asks for is his blanket as his eyes are still rolling in his head. Then he said that he didn't want the eagle. What eagle? I didn't even know he knew what an eagle was! He talked about it later that day. He said he was scared of it. We have no clue what it was or where he saw it, but will ask the doctor at his 2 week checkup if they have one in the surgery room!
Slowly he came back to it, but not crying. We were so amazed! You could hear screams from all the other rooms where the other kids were trying to wake up! Yeah for us! He wanted to snuggle for a while and EAT! Luckily we packed a bag of cheerios! After another thirty minutes it was time to go! Trying to get his clothes back on him was fun, since he was a little tipsy and couldn't stand up!

Ashley, Ashley, Ashley. Why are you so cute?
Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. What will we do with you?
Do you think this kid wants to go swimming? I was cleaning my laundry room today and found all the swim stuff. He swiped the tube and was running around with it on. I don't know if we dare go to public pools this year because of what happened last year.
Ashley and her eye mask...
I guess Ashley is starting young wanting an eye mask when she sleeps! OR her mom just forgets to take her bows off and they slide down! It happens all the time and usually she starts screaming because she can't see. I guess this time it just helped her sleep better!

Hanging out with Ashley
Here is my cutie-pie. She always holds those fingers like that. Too bad she doesn't suck on them! Well maybe not too bad since Andrew still sucks on his pinky and ring fingers!
I had to post this other picture because look how funny my left arm looks.

Here are some pictures of Ashley from the other night. Everything else is pretty much Andrew. I think if you click on the picture, it should get bigger.

A Crayon+A Door=A Magic Eraser
I usually keep crayons or anything that can write for that matter up and put away. Today Andrew found my church bag that had a scripture marking crayon in it. Whoops. Sometimes he likes to drive his cars on the wall even though he knows he isn't allowed to. I heard that same noise they make on the wall but was in the kitchen so I couldn't see him. I asked him to stop. A few minutes later I heard it again. I went over to him and to my surprise he had colored on the wall and the door. I didn't take the picture until he was practically done. I wasn't about to clean it up myself so I got the eraser out for him and told him he had to do it. We haven't really had to deal with this yet, the whole coloring on things. He was so excited that this sponge thing could erase it! I don't know if he learned a lesson or not, but at least he clean it up.

This little piggie...
IS STUFFED WITH BEADS!
I found these marbles that used to be in a vase and got them out for Andrew to play with. He calls them beads. Usually he dumps them out, has his animals play with them, walks on them, etc. I was on the computer when he called for me and said, "Come look mommy, my piggies have beads in them!" What in the world could that mean? I walk out and see this!

Mud Hole...
This morning it was snowing here, so of course Andrew wanted to play outside. He didn't want his snow boots on, but rather his cowboy boots from Halloween. It doesn't look like it had snowed in the pictures because by the time I brought Andrew in, it had all melted!

Cute Kids
Here they are in their cuteness. Andrew said he wanted Ashley's bow on, so we put it on him. Soon enough he wanted it off but I had to have a picture first! He likes to hold Ashley, for about 10 seconds, and then he is done. She doesn't mind thank goodness!

Thanks Suzanne!
Yesterday Suzanne called me and asked if we wanted to go to this place called Jump On It. There are tons of trampolines all next to each other with padding so you don't fall through. There is netting on the sides too so you can't fall off. It was so fun! I only got to stay a few minutes because I had a doctor appointment, but she kept Andrew there to play longer. You could jump on these ones that are angled on the wall and then back onto the flat ones. He had so much fun! I know the pictures aren't great, but I just wanted to show you. Best of all, it was only $3!
