Christmas Sledding!

We went sledding on Christmas up in Layton. The kids loved it! Ashley had fun playing with Grandma.

Here is Derick going down holding Ashley and Andrew on his own sled. He has no fear!

Uncle Ryan was having a lot of fun with Derick too. It was an all around good time!

I love my cute kiddies!

Gingerbread House

(That is the, "I have too much candy in my mouth to smile normal," smile.)

Kids always have so much fun making these, and making a mess doing it! I just wonder how much candy Andrew ate while doing it. Definately MORE than ended up on the house itself!

Hanging out Christmas Eve

We played a lot on Christmas Eve up at Grandma and Grandpa's. The kids had fun reading Christmas books with Grandpa, playing with the decorations....(Ashley was best friends with that fake snowman) and going to see lights! We piled in the car, literally, and drove around to see all the houses with lights on them!

Santa's Cookies

We got these sugar cookies from some neighbors and thought they would be easy and great to use for Santa's cookies. Does anyone else's kids have a hard time making cookies for someone else and want to eat all of them?! Oh, and Santa forgot to eat them when he came, whoops!

Temple Lights with the Young Women!

For a combined activity we went to go see the beautiful lights at Temple Square and do a scavenger hunt at the Church History Museum! It was a lot of fun and reallllly cold!

Thanksgiving Point Holiday Fun!

Have I told you how much we love our Thanksgiving Point membership?? A LOT! This didn't require it, but I just thought I would plug that in!

We went to go see Santa and his reindeer for family home evening. Andrew was THRILLED! And Ashley was NOT! The kids got to sit on Santa's lap and get a candy cane, Andrew's favorite. After some hot cider we went outside to see the reindeer. Andrew was just amazed that they were there and not at the North Pole! It is fun to see Andrew so excited for Christmas and Santa this year!
