Tooo Muuuccchhh Suuugggaarrrr....

We had a great night this month! It was Kristy's turn to host, and since she is due any day to have her baby, we kept it low key! We all met at her house in Eagle Mountain and made cookies on sticks. They are like the ones you would buy HERE in a bouquet. A bouquet there starts at $50! I must say, some members of our group were quite creative with their cookies. While we won't mention what Kristy's was....Jen decorated a beautiful aardvark. I bet all your kids were fighting over that one! Poor Grady, his cookie turned into a pool of melted frosting!

We have been getting together every month for years with these girls! Emily, Sarah, Jen and I all lived in the same ward in Orem when we very first got married. Kristy and Carly moved in later and now we have all gone our different ways but still make time to get together and relax! Oh and talk and laugh and cry and just have fun!

Can't wait until next month!

Draper Temple

Aunt Shirley, Gramea, Ashley, Emily, me, Derick & Andrew
After 3 1/2 hours, we made it through the temple! It was gorgeous and wonderful, it just took forever! We got on the buses finally an hour after we got to the church. We couldn't walk more than a couple steps a minute because there were so many people there that night, but it made it easier to sit and look at all the amazing workmanship that goes into building it! We took the kids with us because Andrew was so excited to go and see a castle, which is what he calls all temples! It was late at night though and when we had to start walking up flights of stairs, he would stop on one and lay down for a few minutes, then pick himself back up and walk a couple more. Or he would put himself in a corner and say, "I'm tired so I have to go to the corner!" I am so glad we took them, but it was a lot of work keeping them quiet and happy!
Riding the bus to the temple and eating cookies afterwards.

See ya Dad!

Taking my dad to the airport after he came down for Uncle Ted's funeral. It isn't anything with my family if there aren't some self portraits taken! I am glad you got to come down, even though the circumstances weren't great.

In Loving Memory of...

Uncle Ted
The silliest, greatest, most wonderful uncle. Thank you for always being so welcoming and providing a home away from home.

My sweet Aunt Shirley & Uncle Ted.
Holding Ashley at the hospital right after she was born.
Being his silly self! (and proof he always had something spilled down the front of his shirt!)
My wonderful cousins-Cathy, Cheryl(not pictured), Jany(not pictured), Robbie, Tricia, Richie, Rachel and Lindsey. I love you!

Ohhhh Andrew...

Have any of your kids ever put their head in the sand at the erosion tables at the Dinosaur museum? Oh but have any of your kids ever then dunked their head in the water too? Yes, that would be mine.
